“British Columbia is the most ecologically diverse province in Canada making the Central Kootenays a beautiful place to work, live and play. The Central Kootenay Invasive Species Society (CKISS) strive to keep our lakes pristine, forests lush, mountains healthy and economies thriving through education and managing invasive species in an effecive way.”
We were approached to help this local environmental organization rebrand, following a change of name. In partnership with Pink Dog Designs we completely renovated their web presence.
Of course this site is 100% responsive so it works on desktop, tablet and phone. It also serves smaller image files for smaller screens, so even with a 10-photo slideshow, we have recorded load times on phone of just 2 seconds.
Concept and visual design are by Pink Dog Designs (Nichola Lytle) of Nelson.
